Hitting Your Highs and Your Lows

Hi all,

Keeping this one short and sweet!!!!

We all come to failures and successes, its part of life, the hardest part is to get back up there and try again because of being afraid of failing, being rejected or missing out on something.

We all have mountains to climb, some small and big, everything is a challenge, nothing is easy out there, it's about LIVING

Do you want everything handed to you on your lap, how boring would that be? Work hard, challenge yourself and enjoy the journey...........

Column By Bob Garvey-----------------------

Purpose Increases Resilience"I don't measure a man's success by how high he climbs buthow high he bounces when he hits bottom."

George S. PattonResilience is an undervalued characteristic in today'sworld. It's true; it's not how many times you get knockeddown, but how many times you get back up.

Purpose adds resilience by putting all of your experiences into context. You see, purposeful people view life differently than"normal" people. They view setbacks as learning experiences, not character flaws. They see obstacles as challenges, notroadblocks. This is huge!

What if every time you fell down, it was to learn how to teach others to get up? What if every time you lied, it was to learn how to teach others to honor truth? What if everytime you were hurt, it was to learn how to teach others to love? What if every crappy job you've ever had was to learn how to teach others the importance of purpose?

If you view every negative experience in the context of learning something new that could one day help yourself andothers, you'll be much more open to the lesson and not so wrapped up in your ego. You won't be the one who says "This shouldn't happen to me!"
